"Did Jesus Find Easter Eggs?"

Erika and Laurel really enjoyed their Easter celebrations this year. As we were eating dinner last night, Erika asked if Jesus also got to find Easter eggs. What a cutie! We told her that he might have looked for something, but probably not Easter eggs.

We started off Easter weekend with an egg hunt at our church. Since we live in Oregon, the land of rain, we held the egg hunt inside, which was a good thing since it was pouring rain most of the morning! I was fortunate to help plan and organize the egg hunt this year, so it was a lot of fun. And, it was very well organized, if I do say so myself!

Laurel wasn't quite sure she like finding the eggs. But, she did like the Teddy Grahams that were inside.
Erika was much more excited about finding eggs. The eggs weren't so much hidden, as just placed along the walls.
Seconds after she dumped the contents of her basket. She was so cute frantically picking up her precious eggs before someone else got to them!
Lots of eggs!
Not sure what was mystifying to them.
Easter morning getting ready to find the eggs in our house.
Laurel was much happier to find eggs on Sunday....especially since they had marshmallows in them!
Erika took a break from finding eggs to call all her grandparents and aunts and uncles to tell them happy Easter.
More marshmallows? Score!
Erika enjoyed her breakfast of jelly beans.
Laurel did not want her picture taken. At all. Or maybe she just didn't want her sister touching her.
So cute in her Easter dress! We got the girls little Snow White and Cinderella figures and they wouldn't part with them at all yesterday.
Erika looking lovely in her new dress from Grandma Parnell with her new bunny from Grandpa and Grandma Hammar and her Cinderella.
Dancing in their new dresses.
The girls had to try out their new shoes and how they sounded on hard surfaces. So cute!

Marshmallows are the best for Laurel-aged kiddos. That's what we did with Lily last year and she loved it.

Adorable dresses, and I love the "sisterly love" picture. :)
