A few weeks ago, Erika's Girl Scout troop participated in Girl Scout Thinking Day. The idea behind the celebration is to research Girl Scout troops from different countries and share with local troops. It was really neat to see so many ways Girl Scouts is celebrated throughout the world. Erika's troop was assigned Hong Kong and they had a really fun time learning about Chinese customs like using chopsticks, making paper lanterns, and playing various games.
Laurel came with us and enjoyed eating treats representing other countries.
