Every day I am reminded of how Erika is growing up...physically and emotionally. This summer, she has spent time doing fun things away from me, which is a totally new and not always welcome activity! I love that she is experiencing new things and growing independently, but my baby is not always by my side....scary!
A few weeks ago, Erika spent the day by herself with Aunt Sarah. The two drove to Seaside to watch our cousin's dance recital and then had a girls day at the beach! Erika loved it....she told Sarah, "I like shopping without Levi because we don't have to leave right away when he starts touching things." It is very nice to have my sister take Erika for the day and let her be a big girl while I had the other two kids at home. Erika came home so happy and felt so grown up. What a special day just for her!
