My most favorite little boy on the planet turns 4 years old today! Levi is so funny and smart and handsome and kind and a perfect member of our family. This past year has been the best year of being his mommy. He makes me laugh all the time! He is quick-witted and goofy and loves to laugh. Levi is a hard worker; Matt and I can ask him to do different chores for us and he does them as best he can and usually goes a step beyond the specific chore we ask him to complete. He is becoming more firm with his sisters about letting them know what he does and does not want to play. He loves playing with Erika and Laurel, but he also really enjoys the time when they are at school and he has every toy in the house to play with all by himself! I love our mornings together after we drop the kids off at school. Usually, we end up doing some kind of errand, but Levi is completely laid back and doesn't make a fuss when it is time to do errands. And he usually gets a cookie or some time to look at toys if he is good! My little man still loves deeply and there is not a day that goes by that he doesn't tell me, out of the blue, that he loves me. Even though he is getting quite big, he still cuddles up on my lap and gives me big, squeezing hugs! Levi loves running, singing, playing in the water, the Model A, the beach, playing at the park, pepperoni, pretzels, carrots, apples, and his sisters. He is messy and loud and needs to be reminded quite a few times exactly what some of our family rules are. He has a difficult time keeping his toys unbroken and complains every time he needs to take a shower. He is working really hard on writing his letters and his number identification and has the biggest smile on his face when we have a good "schoolwork" session at home. Levi is the most fun to spend the day with and Matt and I are so proud and happy to be his parents. We are so blessed to raise Levi and watch him develop into the man that God has planned for him to be!
