It is the first season where all three kids are in soccer! It has been very busy, but a lot of fun too. Unfortunately, this fall has been unusually wet so that hasn't been quite as much fun to watch games in this kind of weather.
Erika is on a 3rd/4th grade team and is a great leader for them. She is an amazing defender and is really comfortable at that position now. She is so fast and has no fear of the ball or the opponent. She also directs traffic for her team from her position.....she is really fun to watch!
Laurel is on a team with quite a few friends and loves it! Second grade soccer doesn't have the positions down as well as Erika's team, but Laurel prefers playing up front on offense and usually scores at least once in a game. She is super fast and spends most of her time running from offense to defense as the team needs.
Levi's team is doing well if they all know which was they are scoring. He has grown quite a bit in the past month of playing the game and has become much more aggressive. He will take the ball from the pack that it is in and run all the way toward his goal. He is working on finishing his run with a good kick into the goal, but for now it's fun to just have the ball and dribble it down the field!
