We took advantage of the beautiful fall day today to let Erika have her first pumpkin patch experience! We went to a family farm in Sherwood where Erika got to run through a hay maze (she wasn't very good at it...she kept running into dead ends), look at chickens and goats, play on a little playground, go on a hay ride, and, of course, find the perfect pumpkin! It was really fun and Erika loved it! Here are a lot of pictures of our day!
I'm a little sleepy!
It was more of a "pumpkin line-up" than a "pumpkin patch".

Daddy found the perfect pumpkin!
Going to the tractor to ride back to the car.
She could care less what we are doing.
Taller than Mommy on the hay bales.
The hay sticks to my hands!
Going into the hay maze.
Coming out of the hay maze...with my donut!
Walking along the hay bales.

So I was laughing because we went to a pumpkin patch at Carver Farms today and I was going to blog about it, but you beat me to the pumpkin patch punch! We were debating whether or not you were at Roloff Farms?
Alyson-No, not Roloff Farms, although we thought about it! We went to one a little closer to our house. I'm looking forward to your pictures of Lily's first pumpkin patch experience!
Great pictures! Looks like you got beautiful weather for your adventure, and Erika had a good time!
(And your baby bump is cute! I hope you're feeling great, too.)
Love these pictures! I also love how Erika plops herself down halfway through walking on top of the hay...guess she was worn out!? Looks like you guys had lots of fun.
