Levi - 4 Months

Levi went to the doctor for his four-month check up yesterday. As we already knew, he is huge, strong, growing perfectly and absolutely adorable! He weighed in at 15 pounds, 14 ounces (67%) and is 26.25 inches (92%). Both the doctor and the nurse were shocked at how long he is. He barely fits on my lap to eat anymore! He loves standing up (with help) and is an old pro with tummy time. He can roll from his tummy to his back when he feels up to the challenge and contorts his body in a very odd way to try and roll from his back to his tummy. So far, he has not mastered the back to tummy roll. But, I'm sure it will come soon! He is such a happy baby and loves watching anything that moves, which is usually his sisters. When we hold him, he MUST be facing away from us or he tries his luck as an owl with turning his head until he's looking out. His latest trick is to pull anything that is in front of his face into his mouth. I love watching little babies put their hands in their mouths because it is like watching them in slow motion.....everything is so deliberate and SLOW. It cracks me up! Levi is a really good baby and getting more and more fun every day. That might also be due to the fact that he is letting Mommy get some really good sleep consistently. We love him very much!
