The girls each got to cram in a late-in-the-year field trip recently. And I was lucky enough to attend both!
Laurel and her best friend ready to see some animals at a local pet shop, Critter Cabana.
These two....
The poor animals...29 sets of little hands wanted desperately to touch them all!
We found this adorable puppy! It was difficult not to bring him home.
Laurel really wanted to keep him!
After the pet shop, we went to a local park for some snack and play time before heading back to school.
A few days after Laurel's field trip, Erika's class went to the zoo.
The black bears loved the drizzly weather!
This lion cub (who was so much smaller when we saw them in March!) was having a meal when we were there.
Erika and her best friend were so happy to be in the same group!
Erika is almost as tall as a sun bear!
Erika's teacher, Mrs. Scott, who had a baby in early March and has been on maternity leave since then, joined us at the zoo with her two sons. Erika loved walking around the zoo with her teacher and a little buddy!
