Fun From a Hat

Aunt Sarah began a fun tradition last year called "Fun From a Hat Day".  It is pretty much what is sounds like.....the kids each get to write down something fun they want to do, put the slips of paper in a hat, and then they draw a slip of paper from the hat and do that fun thing!  This was my first time participating in Fun From a Hat and it was amazingly tiring and super fun!

I dropped the kids off at Aunt Sarah's house on Friday morning and went to pick blueberries for about an hour.  Once I got back, the day of fun began!

Stop #1: Oregon Zoo

Stop #2: Safari Sam's where we had a pizza lunch

Stop #3: Kohl's.  No picture....Laurel and Levi didn't care for this stop.  It was Erika's wish because she is turning into a teenager.

Stop #4: Memorial Park.  Both Laurel and Erika put this park wish in the hat.

Stop #5: Pet Shop

Stop #6: Get candy

Stop #7: Movie theater.  We saw Inside Out.....so cute!

Stop #8: Get smoothies.

We started our day of fun at 10:30am and were home at 9:00pm.  I was exhausted.  And the kids fell asleep within minutes of their head hitting the pillow!

They love this tradition of fun day.  And it was fun to see how excited they were to do everything!
