Glory to God

Just over a year ago, a woman from church whom I respect very much encouraged our ladies Bible study to begin journaling our prayer requests.  She told us that she has been journaling her prayers for years and it has dramatically improved her prayer life.  And it has an added benefit of allowing her to return to her prayer journals to read just how good God is in answering prayers.  I was reading back over my prayers and am truly blessed with how wonderfully God answered my prayers!
My sister has a job that she loves and is succeeding rapidly in!  Her students are performing so much better in their testing with her as their teacher.
  • After being unhappy in his job for almost two years, Matt was blessed with an amazing job that he is really enjoying and planning on spending the rest of his working years at.  He likes his coworkers, he likes the challenge and opportunity of helping George Fox University implement some change for the good in his role, and he really likes the 1.8 mile commute!
  • Our house in Coeur d'Alene is tantalizingly close to being out of our ownership!  We are just days away from signing papers to sell it....we have owned it for 8 years and only lived in it for 2.  I haven't even seen the house since we moved.  God was so good to provide us with great renters while we owned it, but we are so happy to be done with our journey of landlording!
  • Our sweet nephew, Ezra, is growing and happy and adorable and healing.  We praise God for life.
Of course I have many many more prayers, but I usually write down what is heavy on my heart.  And last year, these three things consumed many of my prayers.

We just heard an amazing sermon on proclaiming all the good that God does for us.  Looking back through my prayers and seeing the wonder of God's majesty makes it so easy to give Him the glory!
