Erika is well on her way to participating in the Tour de France! She's been practicing her riding skills for the past week or so at night. Here is a video of her accomplishment (with a little bit of help from Daddy!)
She's a bit of a perfectionist and doesn't appreciate when things don't go well for her. Here is an example of her perfectionist frustration:
I am the hair stylist in the family. As of now, I only have to do two people's hair in the mornings, mine and Erika's. If Laurel ever decides to grow some hair, then I will be her sole hairstylist. This is why the job is not given to Daddy...I asked him to put her hair bow in on Sunday morning and here is the result:
I think it's just his way of ensuring that he will never again be asked to do her hair. But he's going to be really good at putting earmuffs on her!

I think the first time I had Jim put a headband on Lily's head, he had it strapped under her chin and asked, "How do you work these things?" I guess they're more complicated than I realized!
