Seven

Seven months was a big month for Laurel. She is crawling, army style, like crazy....all over the house. And quickly. Being a baby, of course her favorite things to crawl to, in this order are:

1. Wyatt - where she enjoys pulling his tail or just chewing on it.

2. The carbon monoxide detector. It's at her level and has a big red light on it...who wouldn't love that?

3. The lamp cord, specifically the tag on the cord that warns parents about letting their children play with the cord. Perhaps she's just trying to get a better read on it.

Crawling also means getting herself in difficult situations. Here she is getting stuck under the slide.

Laurel is eating a bunch of "people" food now, not just baby food. Her new favorite is Ritz crackers, to go along with her diet of Cheerios, Goldfish, and animal crackers. She also loves cut up pieces of fruit, cheese and biscuits. Here she is with a biscuit.

She can also now use her sippy cup completely by herself, which I enjoy. No more having to hold the cup for her.

In other Hammar news, all of our new windows are now installed....yeah! Matt put in the last two windows this weekend and they look awesome! Erika liked to help Daddy.

Norm Abram would be proud...there is no more important tool when working than your safety glasses!
