Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we finally got around to decorating our gingerbread houses.  After last year's frustration, I decided to do roofless houses.  The kids got to eat the same amount of candy and cookies so they didn't car at all!  Levi kept calling them "gingerbread outhouses".....whatever.

We went to our annual Christmas Eve at Aunt Sarah's house.  The kids opened their Christmas Eve jammies and got slipper socks as well.  After our pizza dinner, we played games, decorated and ate cookies, and played in a blanket fort.  Lots of fun!

Christmas Parties

The last day of school before Christmas break was full on parties!  Laurel's kindergarten class went all out.  As one of the room moms, I got to come into her classroom Thursday after school and transform the room into a Frozen wonderland!  The kids were very impressed with the results and I heard a couple of them say "This is the best day ever!" when they saw it on Friday!

The kids got to play all kinds of different games including dressing up as a snowman.

It was a great party!

Second grade parties were decidedly less eventful, but still fun and rowdy with excited kids ready to be out of school for a while!

Christmas Prep

We have been very busy this holiday season!  First, we saw Santa arrive in a helicopter on Levi's birthday party day.  We were fortunate enough to be playing at an indoor jungle gym when Santa flew in right outside.  The kids got to experience it with their cousin, Judah.

Levi has been building lots of playdough snowmen while his sisters are at school.

Laurel had her friend, Paisley, over to make sugar cookies

And Erika was invited to a friend's house for cookie and ornament making.

Party Time

This past weekend Levi celebrated his birthday party a few different ways!  On Saturday, his grandparents, aunts, uncle and cousins helped him celebrate at Safari Sam's play place.  He loved it!

Laurel kept Ezra entertained in the toddler area.

These buddies, Judah and Levi, had so much fun running around with each other.

Birthday boy got to play some games.

After playing for a while, we went back to our house for pizza, cake, and presents

Levi requested a dinosaur cake this year.

He got a ton of fun presents including almost every Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toy they make!

The little cousins!

On Monday, Levi had some friends over after the girls got out of school for another party.  Popcorn, cupcakes, party games and presents.  Levi had a great 4th birthday weekend!
