Field Day

 The kids had Field Day at school on the second to last day.  We lucked out with beautifully sunny weather....possibly even a bit too hot!  But the kids didn't mind since there was a lot of water activities to play!

Levi and his kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Rath.  This is the second time she had a Hammar in her class and our family is so blessed to have kids in her class!

 

Erika with her 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Payton.  Erika did really well in her class and has decided she wants to be a 4th grade teacher like Mrs. Payton when she grows up!

Laurel with her teacher, Mrs. Sterling.  Laurel is sad because her teacher is moving to Nevada this summer and she won't be able to see her the rest of her time at Crater.   

 Hooray for summer!  We are very much looking forward to all of our adventures!

Weekend Away

We had a vacation-filled weekend two weekends ago.  Our destinations were different, but we all had a great time!  I went to Lincoln City for the weekend on a ladies retreat with other women from church.  It was fun, full of laughs and great classes and we had beautiful weather....fantastic!

 Erika went on her 10th birthday trip with Aunt Sarah....she takes the kids wherever they want to go in Oregon when they turn 10.  Erika chose Sunriver.  They also had great weather and I hear that Erika spent the majority of the weekend in the pool.  That little girl loves to swim!  She also went bike riding and to the park and ate ice cream and she got to stay up late and watch tv in her room.  It was very fun weekend for her!

 

 

Matt stayed home with the other two kids.  They went to the pet shop, where Levi got close up to a licking puppy, fishing, ate food that was barbequed, and helped Matt in the yard.
