VBS

We just finished another year of Vacation Bible School last week.  The kids had such a great time!  It was Erika's first year in the "older kids" portion of VBS...different crafts, different application stories.  She loved being with her friends who are older.  She invited four different friends to join her for the week, but unfortunately they all had their own churches' VBS the same week!  Maybe next year we can get some friends to come.  Laurel did great in her small group of preschoolers.  She made fast friends with a little girl who will be in her preschool class in September.  I was so proud of what a good helper she was to her group!  This was Levi's first year participating in VBS without being part of the nursery.  He did great!  I was worried that he wouldn't want to leave my class, but he went with his little group to all the different stations....what a big boy!  I taught crafts to the preschoolers and had a great time doing it.  Probably my favorite VBS I have led yet.

 

The theme was "Kingdom Rock".  The kids loved this little knight.

I didn't get to see much of Erika since I was downstairs with the preschoolers and she was upstairs with the older kids.  But I did manage to sneak into her games and get a picture.
